  1. I don't see what the big deal is. Why do people have to give you a hard time? THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG, ODD, OR UNUSUAL about your hair. Its hair. It's yours and they should just leave it, and you alone!

  2. I grew up in Crown Heights and Flatbush. There were Isros and Jewfros all over the place. I remember, in junior high, telling Black girls and Jewish Euro-Am girls not to straighten their hair, 'cause it was fab.

    And now people think we all had straight Slavic or Asian hair? Where does this nonsense come from?

  3. I grew up in Crown Heights and Flatbush. I remember, in junior high, telling the girls who were any kind of curly, regardless of which variety, not to straighten their hair, 'cause it was fab. Naturals, Isros & Jewfros, were all over the place.

    And now people think we all had straight Slavic or Asian hair? Where does this nonsense come from?
