Money stress

I paid all the bills…except the $141 (air purifiers, heater) for the Con Ed bill. Right and after paying all the bills, I have about three dollars to my name for the next month and whatever’s in the fridge now (and luckily in the pantry) is whatever I will be eating (Thanks AC!) but all the felines have food for a month. Meanwhile, we’re having a kitty litter shortage, a cereal shortage (the only thing that ALMOST doesn’t hurt for breakfast). I think I have to go to the doctor for some other troubles but all the money worries have my head aching.

Apparently, my Americorps check is in the mail, a large sum which I thought I might save to move to the Heights into a 2-bedroom in the Spring and/or go to Israel in the summer. Looks like both plans might be out since paying off my insurmountable $20K debt is wiping out my entire paycheck…including food money.

No, I will not get rid of my cats, bite me.

  1. Favorite cereal? That’s a complicated question because I guess for the most part I have two but both are lethal to my stomach and therefore only tolerable in small doses—Captain Crunch and Fruity Pebbles. Sometimes I enjoy Cocoa Pebbles but mostly I try to stick to Multi-Grain Cheerios which are less expensive than the preferable…Kix. 🙂 You asked.
