Ynetnews.com notes a drop in the number of people converting to Judaism from other religions in Israel. Gee, could that be because they’ve made it so hard in Israel for people to convert? I’m sure the numbers will drop in America as well.

It is had to get a visa renewed in Israel and, furthermore, one who wants to enter a conversion course needs a special permit from the ministry. And the ministry doesn’t want too many converts due to bad experiences in the past.>>It is a whole red tape issue.
